Who is RB?

Hi! I‘m an engineer, an athlete, and former coach who currently works in software development for a living and with a lot of passion for movement, engineering and mountains.

As a sports-person I’m deeply in love with multidisciplinary endurance and skill-challenging events. I have had the great opportunity to compete and train in OCR, Crossfit, trail running, triathlon, long and middle distance running, gymnastics, and (very soon) in Hyrox.

As an engineering enthusiast (and physicist), my dream job is to engage in an end-to-end project that involves many fields (software, electrics, mechanics, architecture, etc.), working in each one of them from design to code to build. From the academic perspective I’m have a bachelor’s degree in Physics, almost had another on Human Movement Sciences, have a minor degree in Computer Science and I’m currently doing an MBA.

What did this site used to represent?

Formerly this page was a space to allow the intersection of fields related to some science (some old users will remember the the odd name “interscience”) always promoting a new learning related to exercise/training.

The purpose was to promote a physical activity challenge accompanied with a training to achieve a goal for a person from a field different than mine, while at the same time I would learn a new skill. Check the #intersciencechallenge as a dual challenge combining learning and exercise (fun fact this was a cool place to learn languages :D)

What does this site represents now?

The goal here is to create a tool repository to bring knowledge and advice from different fields, mainly in software development engineering and fitness/training, but also mental and productivity tools that I’ve researched to help us being better at what we do.

Also this is a space to put random stuff that may be useful 🙂
